Veterinary Practice Management
Kliv is an AI app builder. Describe the client portal your clinic needs, and it builds household logins, pet records, booking, vaccine reminders, and private files.
Just enter your idea into the text box and AI will build it for you
Kliv isn’t a veterinary portal product you sign up for and configure. It’s an AI that builds software for you.
You describe the app you need in plain words, and Kliv builds it: the database, the logic, the screens, and the workflows. What you get is a real, working application that’s yours. You can use it, change it later by asking for changes, and run it on your own domain. It isn’t a template with your name on it.
On this page, that app is a client portal for a veterinary clinic. Kliv builds all kinds of web apps; this is one of them, and that’s what the rest of this page covers.
A lot of clinic phone traffic is not urgent medicine. Owners ask when a vaccine is due, whether an appointment is Monday or Wednesday, or whether a nail trim can move. Those questions interrupt a front desk that is already handling patients.
Kliv builds the owner-facing side of the clinic. A household signs in, sees its own pets, reads the notes you published, books into open slots, and receives reminder emails in the clinic’s voice.
The portal shows selected clinic records to the household that owns them.
One account can cover the people responsible for the pets: a couple, a grown child who drives to appointments, or another trusted owner.
Species, weight history, allergies, and visit notes can be stored per pet. Notes stay private unless the clinic chooses to publish them.
Each vaccine has a next due date. Reminder emails read from those dates, so the due list and the owner’s message match.
Open slots are defined by doctor, length, and room. When one household books a slot, another household cannot take the same slot.
Cytology PDFs, dental x-rays, and discharge instructions stay attached to the pet record and visible only to that household.
The system keeps what was sent, to whom, and about which animal, so the clinic can answer reminder questions from a record.
Here’s how one clinic might use it. It’s only an example — you would describe your own records, booking rules, reminder timing, and sharing policy.
The front desk opens a household, adds a kitten named Juniper, and records the day’s vaccines with due dates. The owner leaves with a login instead of only a paper card.
That evening, the owner opens the discharge note and first weight entry. Nothing has to be photocopied or searched for later.
Eleven months later, Juniper’s booster reaches the lead time the clinic set. An email goes out with a booking link.
The owner takes a Saturday slot with Dr. Sandoval. The booking claims the slot, so a second household cannot book it too.
On the morning of the visit, staff see who is coming, which animal it is, why they are coming, and last year’s “hides under the bench” note.
New vaccines create new due dates. The next reminder is already based on the updated chart.
Kliv builds from your description, so the more detail you give, the closer the first version. Include who signs in, what they can see, how booking works, and when reminders send. Here are three to build on:
Household records, booking, and vaccine reminders.
“Build a client portal for our two-doctor small-animal clinic. Each household should see only its own pets, book 20-minute appointment slots by doctor, and receive email reminders three weeks before a vaccine is due.”
Records and home-visit requests.
“Build a portal for my mobile veterinary practice. Clients should see their pets’ published records, request home visits with preferred time windows, and let me confirm each day’s visit list from one screen.”
Cat vaccine schedules, boarding, and feeding notes.
“Build a client portal for my feline-only clinic. Track a vaccine schedule per cat, let owners book boarding dates, and include each cat’s feeding notes in reminder emails.”
Each pet record belongs to a household. A signed-in owner can only reach rows that belong to that household. That rule is enforced in the database.
Files follow the same rule. Radiographs, lab reports, and discharge instructions sit in the file store under the pet record, private by default and shared only when the clinic decides to share them.
Reminder timing is a scheduled job. The nightly check looks for due dates that match the lead time you set and writes every send to a log. Take away the species and this is the shape of many appointment businesses: records, bookings, reminders, and a phone that should ring less. The same pattern serves every trade that books its days.
Kliv is an AI that builds custom web apps from a description. You tell it what you need, it builds the app, and you own the result. For this page, that means a veterinary client portal with household logins, pet records, appointment booking, files, and reminders.
A real app. Kliv builds the database, the logic, and the screens for your specific case. It is not a pre-made theme you fill in.
Yes. You ask for changes in plain words and Kliv updates the app, without starting over.
Yes. The app can run on your own domain and go live as soon as you build it.
Yes. The code syncs to your own Git repository, so leaving is a git pull, not a rebuild.
Only what the clinic publishes. Internal observations and staff notes stay inside the practice unless you mark a note as visible.
Each pet belongs to a household, and the database only serves rows that belong to the signed-in household.
Yes. Each vaccine type can carry its own lead time, such as three weeks for rabies or ten days for kennel cough.
Yes. You decide which slots are open, by doctor, room, and length. A booked slot is no longer available to anyone else.
Yes. Files attach to the pet record and inherit the household’s access rule.
It does not have to. Some clinics use it as the owner-facing portal and keep their back office where it is. Others expand it into the main system over time.
Yes. Reminder and confirmation emails can use your wording and templates.
